Upon arriving, students (ages 7 & up) are instructed
on safety rules and their importance while around horses. Daily chores of feeding, grooming, stable cleaning, bathing
and all aspects of stable management are practiced. Students learn of the horses diet to include vitamins, minerals,
fly control, protective tack for horses safety and the overall health and happiness of each and every horse at our farms.
Each day students participate in a formal riding lesson in our 225 x 175'
riding arena. Here the proper fundamentals are taught to rider (both English and Western) to ensure safety and the ability
to navigate the horses properly. Safety is first and each rider is treated individually by their own levels of experience.
We teach the true beginner up to the more experienced riders. Daily trail rides are enjoyed when riders are capable and ready
to experience this safely. (Hard Hats are required at all times and supplied by us) Horses
are often sweaty in summer, bathing is a daily chore, along with every feeding, and all students work all day to take care
of our best friends...our horses!
Students may sign up for one week, or come over the entire summer. We have some kids that come everyday, all summer
long!
Our daily lesson program is
an excellent way to give your child the chance to really get to learn about horses. We have more than 15 kids that are part
of our show team. We build life long friendships and offer a safe, happy environment. We pride ourselves with the caliber
of students our program develops.
