Being born an American is the best gift God ever granted me. A gift I am sure I have taken advantage of for much of my life. As a young girl I dreamed big, and as an adult I have worked hard. Because of this great country I have been able to live all my dreams and create more then I ever visioned, and I do not measure success in dollar bills.

I am worried about this great country. I see around me Americans who are oblivious to what is going on. The divisions that are being created between left and right are polarizing our society. People are so worried about their cell phones or face book pages, that they don't realize that we owe our great country respect and protection from it's enemies. That we should be working to guard and protect this life that was given to us, and yet patriotism is something some families are too busy to discuss.
 
That is why I wrote my book titled "American Soldier Proud and Free" a simple book that praises those who serve to protect us and our freedoms. Not only did our military need a book that showed support for their dedication and convictions, but we needed a book that would relay a simple message to child and adult alike.. "America is something worth fighting for."

This book means everything to me. God, family, country that is what life means to me and it is a message I want American children to hear. Can you believe that I cannot get into some schools because of two words that are in the book? "Pray and God". Incredible!

With all the gifts America has given me and with my heart realizing what is happening across the country, I had to do something to try to stop the trend. I ask you, have you thought about the great life you have had lately? Separate yourself from your self made problems such as divorce, depression, addictions or lost relationships to name just a few and think about how for the most part... most of us here in America have never wanted for anything. We have water, heat, roofs over our shoulders, schools, paved streets, bountiful grocery stores and the list could go on until tomorrow!
We all have sorrows and life does have it's ups and downs but if you can, think about the great life America has tried to give you. If you cannot see the dream at all, maybe it's because you have forgot to work at it, maybe it's because you forgot to include God in your plans. All I know is that our fore fathers had a plan and it has been a great success. It is our turn now to continue the heritage so greatly bestowed upon us. An inherited responsibility that I believe we have been guilty of sleeping at the wheel at. Wake up America... thank God for this great country. Stop spending all your time in useless deeds while forces are hard at work stripping the soul out of the heart of our home.

So I ask you...

If we don't teach our children to love this great country... who will?
If American children do not realize how fragile their freedoms are and what is at stake, how will they protect them?
